Despite it’s ideal location across from the Fox Theater in Oakland’s Uptown neighborhood, the former Woolworth department store at 1740 Telegraph lay dormant for many years prior to Weinstein Local and Citrine Advisors‘ stewardship. Through extensive research with the City of Oakland, the development and design teams brought this historic building and façade back to life with new black granite storefronts and gold leaf accents at the top of the second story. Today the building is home to three ground floor businesses (Itani Ramen, The Miranda and The Punchdown) below two floors of creative, concrete and timber office space.
